Throughout the years Sarah has been able to not only improve her overall health and fitness but has fostered some amazing friendships along the way as well. Being an athlete her entire life Sarah was looking for something to fulfill her need for fitness, community, and competition after she stepped off the field for the last time. She had recently graduated from University at Albany where she was a Division 1 Field Hockey Athlete and was feeling a bit lost. Sarah took her first Crossfit class in 2013 and has been hooked since. She met Milos, the owner extraordinaire of Blackbuck, in Indy back in 2014 and is the reason he followed her to Memphis to eventually open CrossFit Blackbuck (you’re welcome guys)! You’ll always be able to spot her at the gym because she’s typically upside down walking on her hands or hanging out in baby jail with the kids. She has 18 years of competitive gymnastics experience and coached children’s gymnastics for 8 years prior to her career in pediatrics. She got her L1 in hopes of training kids in the future since that’s her passion. She’s the secretariat of the gym and the top secret planner of many gym events. When she’s not at work she can be found in any of our morning or evening classes (we’re convinced she just never sleeps).
